Hi everyone! My name is Vichell from the beautiful country of the Philippines.

And I'll be 21 years old on Friday, August 10, 2007.

Actually I'm just starting on my Art life particularly in photography and graphics. I graduated as a ComSci student but discovered at the latter years that I'm in love with art. So, here I am trying to follow my heart despite of all the barriers. I just wrote to my August calendar "Fly away towards your dreams!!!" And that helps, coz now that I've decided to face a new life, everyday it reminds me to strive and pursue my dreams. Along that is my mission, living for the cause of my life.

"Where your heart is, there your treasure is..."There you'll find success.

To tell you the truth, I don't have my own camera. I borrow my sister's Canon digiCam, but she seldom lend me hers. I asked my mom to buy me an SLR but she's saving for something else. But it's ok, I'm still praying for it, and I know God will give me it for the right time. And not yet having my own salary, still on the final stage of entering a media company. Anyway I accept web/graphic design projects, just send me a note and we could talk about it.

Many times I wish I have my own camera everywhere I go, coz everytime my eyes sparks and butterflies on my shoulder I missed to capture the mysteries and magnificence in life, though I write sometimes. There are times like seeing stairs on the skies in a form of cloud, the other end of the rainbow and the city under it, chickens sheltering their selves by the dog's house, and other things that I wish I could share it to somebody. Sometimes I imagine that I'm in a movie and the camera hears my inner voice while I'm narrating my life, my surroundings, and the feelings inside. Hehe... I still hope that one day I could share it to people who might need my story to be inspired and realize about life.

I know there is time for everything. I know someday I'll write these stories in my head, someday I could also capture the beauty of life like Gilad Benari and everyone else who do art like the people here at deviantArt. But as for now, I'll be learning more on art, and I'll try not just to look at it but to capture it with my heart just like what Ms. Beatrix Potter did. I'll be doing this InsideArt Feature monthly. I'll quest for the Arts that captures my eyes and my heart. Then I'll try to interpret it in a way I understand it or feel it.

What I mean when I say InsideArt, is to delve into the artist's heart while doing his/her piece(motives, mood, thoughts, feelings, character, relation to the piece) and to the heart of the art piece(its story, precursor, meaning, cause, elements). For these two character have this intimate realation leading into an ART. This is only my own opinion, I didn't take any professional or formal art study. Hope you understand me. This InsideArt Feature will not be considered as a contest. I remember a thought in a book authored by a Filipina named Marsha Ledesma, "There is always someone who is better than you, but what matters most is that you gave your all" I think what she means is giving your heart in what you do.

We'll see more hearts of the art, for the quest is on! I know you see them too, so I invite you to watch out for the featured deviation starting August 7. Suggestions are welcome, then let's see if they could make it through the heart of a viewer. And comments are very welcome for those who are already featured :+fave: and comment their deviation also.
