Hi guys so finally, here we are First of all, thank you very much for your kindness and understanding Thanks for joining this contest and been an inspiration to somebody

This interview is one of the privilege for the contest's first place. And thank you for entertaining our few questions

1.What inspired you to make the picture?
I got a light box set in the mail about a month before I shot this picture. I was using artificial light a lot after that. I missed the look of natural light, nothing is quite like it. It was a beautiful sunny day outside and I thought of the contest of being locked inside. Trapped. My blinds are black so it was easy to get a dark look with a beam of light shining in.

2Any personal experience relating to this picture?
At the time, not really. I was happy, free and it was summer. But now, it being winter, boggled down with school and work it does remind me of how carefree summer was for me; and how I am now like the girl in the picture. Kind of trapped in a room with homework to do

3.Did you discover something new along shooting?(technical/non-technical)
At first, I started shooting with me on the ground reaching for the window. With the shirt I was wearing, it just made an awkward picture. So when I stood in front of the light, I noticed that I got a real nice shot and the shirt turned out great.
I discovered that attire can make or break a shot depending

4.On your own perspective, what does the picture say?
The world is a beautiful place, and many of us take it for granted. I know I do. It is so easy to do. So many tings keep you inside; homework, school, work, photo editing .
You've just got to take a moment and indulge in it. Enjoy it for what it is worth, for you never know when it will change on you.

5.Any advice to our fellow artist/photographers?
Take in everything.
You know how in school the teacher will go over something and you think that it will never show up again. Exam time comes around and proves you wrong?
Chances are, you aren't the only one that thought that. So if you take in as much as you can, you will blow the others out of the water with your ideas and creations. Also, it is awesome to get inspired, but try and create something from your mind, that way you can truly say that the image came to you

Looking at the picture I have got one flash back: "always look on
the bright side of life", just leave the dark thoughts behind, there is
always something worth discovering - "light". Don't look back, go
forward, future is much more thrilling than past.
This picture shows good balance between good and bad human feelings.
